List of AI Tools

This list provides an overview of potentially useful AI tools for academics and researchers. It covers options for summarizing literature, analyzing citations, detecting AI-generated text, creating presentations, and working with multimedia.

The tools listed apply natural language processing, machine learning and other techniques to help understand scholarly works more efficiently, screen for academic integrity issues, assist with content creation, and more.

Browse the different categories and descriptions to discover how these applications may streamline your research, teaching, or project needs.

Please note: With the exception of Consensus, the Library does not directly support the tools listed here.

Avoid Uploading E-resource Content to AI Tools

E-resource content should not be used in combination with third-party AI tools (including HKBU ChatGPT). Uploading of licensed content to AI tools results in the sharing of copyrighted materials with unauthorised third parties, infringing the rights of the e-resource provider.
