The Library

Besides SPSS, computers in the Main Library (AML)'s Multimedia Learning Center on Level 4 also have other data analysis software installed including NVivo, Stata, Matlab, Tableau, and more.

Python

HKBU Library's Data Software Training Videos - Python (Cantonese & Putonghua) 廣東話及普通話教學

  The Library produces a training series for Python available in both Cantonese and Putonghua. 

Data Software Workshops

This recorded workshop is one of the Library's data software workshops, it talks about Python.

In this video, the trainer Eric teaches you the basics of Python and data science in a practical way.

Linkedin Learning

Formerly Lydna.com, Linkedin Learning has over 5,000 courses focused on business, technology, and creative skills. Each course is developed and led by experts, and the platform will provide you with recommendations based on your interests. The videos come with subtitle and transcript where you can easily refer to.

Note that you need to have a Linkedin account to access the platform, and you can use your personal one.

NVivo

NVivo is a qualitative data analysis software. Similar to SPSS, it is installed on computers at the Library's Multimedia Learning Center on Level 4.

Linkedin Learning

As Linkedin Learning tutorials and courses focus on business, technology, and creative skills, NVivo tutorials are also available on this platform.

Note again, you need to have a Linkedin account to access the platform, and you can use your personal one.
