Prezi

Making a Prezi isn't all that different from making a slide presentation--you're still putting text and image together to tell your audience a story. Here are a few differences:

• You work online to create your presentation.
• You add content to frames, as in a movie, and not slides.
• You add  movement between frames and within frames.
• You can use visual metaphor and movement to communicate your message.

No need to start from scratch--you can select from a whole library of templates to create a first Prezi. These provide generic background images and pre-set movements--your job is to add content.

In addition to the built-in Prezi templates, you can also browse millions of public & reusable presentations in the Prezi library.

You also have the option of importing PowerPoint into Prezi if that is how you prefer to start.

The free educational license allows you to set the privacy level of your Prezis. The three settings are: private, hidden (visible only to those with the URL) and public. If you wish, can also allow make your Prezi reusbale so that others can download a copy to modify for their own uses.
