HKALL

HKALL (Borrow books not available at HKBU Library)

HKALL (Hong Kong Academic Library Link) is a service that allows you to search and request books from other UGC-funded university libraries.  Requested materials will be delivered to HKBU’s Main Library or the Shek Mun Campus Library for users to check out. This service is provided free of charge. To know more and learn how to request HKALL books, visit our HKALL webpage.

Interlibrary Loan (ILL)

Interlibrary Loan (ILL) (Obtain journal articles not available at HKBU Library)

You can request books, articles, and other library materials that are not available at HKBU Library from other libraries worldwide via Interlibrary Loan Service (ILL). To learn more, visit our ILL webpage.

JULAC Card

JULAC Library Card (Physical access and borrowing privileges to other UGC-funded University Libraries in Hong Kong)

As a postgraduate student, you can apply for a JULAC (Joint University Librarians Advisory Committee) Library Card for free to access other UGC-funded libraries and have borrowing privileges. 

You can simply apply online. An email notification will be sent to you when the card is ready.
