If you want to recommend the Library to buy materials to support your teaching / research, there are several ways that you can do so.

(1) Send specific purchase requests to the Library:

• Email acqlib@hkbu.edu.hk
• Submit an online recommendation here

(2) Select books online

(3) Sign up for the GOBI Notifications and be informed of new English language titles published in your disciplines

As an alternative to reviewing books in person, you can also make your selections online through these websites.

English Books:

Chinese Books:

Want to know what books have been recently published in your field? Sign up for GOBI Notifications now if you have not done so. Compiled by GOBI (our main book vendor), these alerts are emailed to you every two weeks, informing you of new English language titles published in your disciplines based on the subject profiles below.
