Plagiarism (抄襲) is a serious offense. You are plagiarising if you have copied & pasted sentences directly from a website, a book, a journal, etc. You are still plagiarisng even if you have replaced one or two words from the original sentence(s) without crediting the source. So, avoid plagiariam & cite your sources properly.

There are many online tools that make citations easier to manage. However, remember that automatic citation tools are never perfect. You still need to understand the rules for your citation style in order to spot mistakes.
