Gender Studies Subject Guide: Internet Resources

The Ming Qing Women's Writings digital archive and database project is dedicated to the digitization of collections of writings by women in late imperial China (1368-1911). It is an ongoing project hosted on an online platform designed by the McGill Library Digital Initiatives Team. The digital images themselves are sourced from the collections of five major research libraries.

A collaboration among faculty, graduate students, media producers, artists, and librarians promoting research on gender, new media, science, and technology.

Founded in 2010, this is an entity under the United Nations to focus exclusively on gender equality and women’s empowerment. It regularly produces reports, publications, and data to support its mission.

A collaborative blog project that aims to provide a dedicated and accessible space for commentary about all aspects of gender, sexuality and feminism(s) in China (including contested parts thereof), past and present.

Based in Tokyo area, Japan, the society was started by 4 scholars in September 1977. Its activities include a monthly seminar and yearly retreat, both of which promote reading and discussion of the historiography related to the subject.

此館宗旨是在台灣推動及落實各項婦女／性別議題為主要任務，使台灣婦女與性別平等事務推動上與國際社會並駕齊驅。

研究群主要在吸取新知、促進學科間學術交流，研究活動大致分成三個方向：（一）採科技整合方式，邀請不同學科婦女研究之專家學者演講，並舉辦座談會、研習營；（二）申請研究計畫、出版研究成果、蒐集資料、以及舉辦國際會議；（三）發行《近代中國婦女史研究》年刊。
