BrowZine™: Interlibrary Loan Integration

BrowZine™ is a browsable newsstand of the Library’s top journals. Easily discover, read, and monitor the key journals in your field.

Step 1: Initiate Interlibrary Loan Request

Step 1: Initiate Interlibrary Loan Request

Sometimes, due to publisher restrictions, the full text of more recent issues of a journal will not be available. This will be indicated by an orange bar at the top of the screen.

The full text of single articles from such issues can be requested through interlibrary loan (ILL). Tap on the name of the article and you will be connected directly to our ILL system. Eligible users can request a personal copy for their own use:

You will then be transferred from BrowZine to your device's default Internet browser, where you will need to login to the system using your HKBU account:

The ILL form will be pre-filled with the article details. Check that everything is correct, and submit your request.

Note: Your ILL request will be processed subject to copyright restrictions and ILL policies. If we find a copy for you, you will need to download the article from the ILL system when it becomes available. You will not be able to view the article within BrowZine.
