User etiquette reminder / Extra study space during the Examination Period

Image of the Multipurpose Rooms including the notice that they are open to all users between 27 April and 9 MayAs classes end and the examination period approaches, demand for Library study space inevitably increases. While the Library continues to look for ways to provide more space for our students, you can also help ensure our limited space is made fairly available. Most important is to observe the Library's regulations on seat occupation. Please do not occupy study places with your personal belongings or Library materials.

Library staff reserve the right to clear study spaces of personal belongings if they find they have been left unattended for over one hour. Cleared belongings can be collected from the security guard on Level 3.

To provide additional study spaces, this semester the Library will open up the Multipurpose Rooms in the Academic Commons. The rooms will be open between 27 April and 9 May (both dates inclusive) and they will also be accessible during the 24 hour opening period.

Please note that the whiteboard in the Multipurpose Rooms is electronic - please do not write on it!
